Our country is suffering a very serious environmental pollution problem. Especially with the development of industry, the advance of the urbanization and new rural construction program, the environmental pressure is growing, protection issue emerge in endlessly, the possibility of occurring sudden environment events also has increased. In recent years, serious water pollution accidents occurred frequently around the country, which not only have the serious damage to water environment, especially the drinking water resource which directly threat to people’s healthy, but also affect the social stability.To ensure the safe water quality of long distance water transfer project, this paper based on "South-to-North Water Diversion Project", take Xiaoyun River water conveyance of east-route project as a research object, to identify the risk source and confirm the sudden water pollution accidents that most likely to happen in this segment. Using established hydrodynamic model and water quality model to simulate and analysis pollutant’s Transformation regular in water conveyance, calculate the influence of time, range and extent on Xiaoyun River’s water quality while several typical sudden water pollution accidents occurred. And confirm the situation when lasting pollution occurred, pollutants’concentration which from start position to diversions (or cross section) is exactly same as the upper limit of class III standard of surface water environmental quality standards, the critical value of pollutants’load at accident spots and provide control schemes accordingly. Finally, simulate these control schemes to compare the different control results after typical sudden water pollution accidents occurred. The research achievements can provide a very important reference for the water quality prediction, early warning, emergency control scheme of "South-to-North Water Diversion Project" Shandong segment water conveyance line under sudden water pollution accidents. Main research achievements are as follows.(1)Identify the risk of Xiaoyun River water conveyance for "South-to-North Water Diversion Project" east-route project. Analysis the factors which may cause the sudden water pollution accidents, To conclude that the most likely reason for sudden pollution accidents is the pollutants leak into the river which caused by the traffic accidents over crossing bridge.(2)According to the actual circumstance of Xiaoyun River, using Mike11 software as the main research tools to explain the principle and method of Mike11hydrodynamic (HD) module and convective diffusion (AD) module, provide the software basis for simulation and prediction.(3)Establish the hydrodynamic module, using the actual hydrologic data to process the calibration and verify the reliability of the module. Meanwhile, based on this, establish the water quality module (convective diffusion module) and present the conception of pollution flows, hydrodynamic time, water quality time and pollution threshold, etc.(4)Set up four kinds of hydrodynamic situation, choosing two kinds of pollutant’s type (conservative and non-conservative) and using the typical sudden pollution accidents to simulate and analysis the Transformation regular after pollutants leak into river. Provide the foundation for making emergency control programs.(5)According to the accident severity, pollutant concentration and polluting duration, Divide sudden water pollution accidents into four levers. Regarding sudden water pollution accidents occurred at water source or canal, come up with different emergency control schemes accordingly.(6)Select three typical sudden water pollution accidents to simulate and analysis the different emergency control measures, find the best scheme after comparing the control results, to ensure the safe water quality of water conveyance line.
