Studies On Rural Artistic Conception In Townscape Design

With the gradual decline of agricultural propotion andthe acceleration of new urbanization, many inevitable problems occur, such as weakening of regional characteristics, loss of traditional cultures and deterioration of environment, which all lead townscape design to be short of humanistic care andinnovative ideas. The’rural artistic conception’ presented here is based on the actual condition of townscape construction in China to figure out better ways to display both local features and countryside cultures by combining rural cultural landscape, regional landscape and ecological environment with the aim to realize sustainable development and harmony between man and nature. The construction of rural artistic conception will remarkably increase the identifiability of the overall townscape, promote the image of city and finally help citizens to love their town and remember the homesickness.
