With the rapid development of the ship building large-scale, generalization, modularization, many devices on the ship need to be frequently move and change direction, which requires mechanical mobile device to support. Aircraft tractor is mainly used for scheduling aircraft on deck or ship, it is the most frequently used mobile security vehicles, with high-profile. Also the continuous improvement of aircraft tractor structure design and manufacturing technologies, comprehensive performance requirements supporting the use of coolant is increasingly high. Based on this situation, the current research situation and development trend of domestic and foreign engine coolant are analyzed in this paper, combined with the aircraft tractor engine for the special performance of coolant and the characteristics of actual working conditions. The paper must to be proposed to develop a good comprehensive performance of aircraft tractor coolant.Firstly, this paper takes into account both comprehensive performance and environmental protection requirements of the coolant, by comparing the ethylene glycol with the propylene glycol, the propylene glycol is selected as antifreeze. Secondly, additives with good comprehensive performance are screened through the comparative analysis of various types of engine coolant additives available. Supplement by the corresponding ratio test, using stepwise regression analysis method, combined with MATLAB software, the optional composite ratio of organic acid corrosion inhibitor, inorganic acid corrosion inhibitor, anti rust inhibitor and other coolant additives are determined, and the optimum adding amount also are determined. Then, on the basis of this study,8 formula schemes are designed by uniform experimental design method. According to the test results of full formula, it is hard to choose formula optimization. Based on fuzzy mathematics theory and the grey system theory, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is used to determine each evaluation index weight, and the integrated evaluation model of the formula schemes is constructed using grey clustering decision method, so the scheme of F5 is selected as the best scheme of the whole formula.Finally, through the corresponding performance test, the results show that the coolant has good anti freeze, boil performance, excellent anticorrosion performance and antirust performance, and good anti salt fog performance. It can well meet the requirements of aircraft tractor a variety of working conditions.
