Aiming at problem that the diaphragm metering pumps for complex and poor work environment, and traditional metering pump control methods is too simple which does not apply to complex industrial processes, this paper based on diaphragm metering pump field panels, the design of remote control system based on intelligent gateway. Not only to achieve real-time network control of each metering pump and sensor nodes, but also to achieve communicating with each other of each nodes and collecting the field data and fault alarming information.This paper proposed a remote control system based on intelligent gateway and an achievement of TCP/IP protocol-based networking monitoring which is based on the research status and development trend of remote control system and pump station optimal operation. Meanwhile, for the stage, the energy loss and product quality issues proposed pump station optimal operation of the program. The main work is as follows:1. Hardware and software design of smart metering pump dedicated gateway based on the CAN industrial Ethernet. The hardware is including CAN module, Ethernet module, power module, and debug module and so on. The software is including an achievement of drivers of CAN bus and data transceiver procedures, cutting and transplanting of TCP/IP protocol stack and an achievement of the design of smart gateway application by the thinking of finite state machine.2. Due to strong dedicated intelligent gateway, a custom application-layer protocol was designed on the TCP/IP application layer that ensures the validity security, and reliability of two-way transmission of data.3. The design of remote monitoring platform and monitoring software. Use Apache of MINA network communication framework to achieve network connectivity and data exchange between metering pumps dedicated gateway and monitoring platform, and monitoring software applications are isolated, making the program more structured design hierarchy. Writing visual interface of system through Java Swing components, real-time display of data collected from the field, reflecting the operation state of field metering pump intuitively, and storing the data collected in the database to prepare the historical inquiry and fault detection.4. Establish mathematical model of the metering pump optimal operation, including minimum flow deviation model, energy consumption model. Solving optimization model selection analysis, and finally to solve the optimization model by genetic algorithm and simulation in MATLAB testing the effectiveness and feasibility of optimization algorithm running. Finally, the optimization models and algorithms using the Java language, embedded into the material dosing system, available to decision-makers use to optimize decision-making.
