With the improvement of the national economy and the rapid development of thenational power industry, the traditional method of metering electrical energy thatreliance on manual measurement to the scene ammeter reading has far from meeting theneeds of people, which cost a lot of human and material resources and seriously affectthe efficiency of energy metering management. Through computer to manage themeasured energy device and conduct remote online monitoring, the efficiency of theenergy device management can be greatly improved. Therefore, the development of aline detection system capable of remote metering electricity is important.This article describes the significance of energy metering device Remote Test andMonitoring System and the design process, on a comprehensive understanding andanalysis of the functional basis of the system on-site testing equipment and mastermanagement center, combined with actual application requirements for powercompanies, and conducted in-depth research for the problem of how to implement thesystem of local and remote online real-time monitoring. The design of energy meteringdevice remotely check monitoring system includes three important components of theframework,such as the on-site monitoring equipment, communications network andmaster management center.The remote monitoring system used advanced communications technology andadopted energy meter positive and negative/reactive error test, multi-loop switchingand PT secondary circuit voltage drop online test key technologies to establish anenergy metering device automated management model, replaced by artificial meansperiodic verification mode. This study solved on-site installation of power equipmenttesting problem by a reasonable means of detection, maintenance methods, in order tohelp power companies reduce equipment failure rates and operating costs and obtain itsbetter benefits.
