Design Of Boiler Temperature Control System Based On Siemens PLC And MCGS And The Research Of Self-tuning Algorithm

The boiler is the source of heating, and it is the major power equipment of petroleum, metallurgy, electric power and other industries. And the level of the boiler automatic control directly determines the efficiency, economy, security of the boiler. At present, the majority of boiler control level is not high, resulting in low thermal efficiency, high energy consumption and serious environmental pollution. Therefore, in order to ensure the safety, stability and energy saving of the boiler, it has great realistic significance for the research of the boiler control system. In order to meet the demand of the gas company, the paper is to design a set of automatic monitoring and control system of boiler.Considering the cost and the requirements of factory, the paper determined the optimal scheme of the control system on the basis of introducing the whole process of steam boiler and hot water boiler, and analysing the control task. The paper designed a boiler control system with S7-300/200PLC as the main controller, intelligent control instruments as secondary controllers, MCGS as PC software. The program realized the communication between different controllers, read-write of boilers data, the conversion of analog quantity, and so on based on STEP7. As a further research, this paper described the relay feedback self-tuning algorithm. With the help of Simulink and PLCSIM, the paper analysed and researched the PID online self-tuning of steam temperature.The monitoring system has been applied to boilers process system of the company. The system is stable, reliable and the interface is intuitive and image, which can accurately reflect the scene of the production process and greatly facilitate the monitoring and operations for workers. And it gets well reflect from the company.
