With the rapid economic development after reform and opening-up, China learn well from technologies of foreign high-speed rails construction and with selfimproved innovation, it now has brought a leap-forward development in building its own high-speed rails in the new century. This thesis ties to make an analysis on the defects and causes of China’s high-speed rail station construction based on the current user-friendly designs it has now achieved, and then discusses the policy for the future construction through the combination of user-friendly design and utilization.First, the thesis makes a literature review on the relative academic research from home and abroad, and give an introduction to China’s user-friendly designs of high-speed rail station under the guidance of people-orientation theory. It also comes up with the improvement of current designs, and analyzes the defects and causes of previous designs and uses by taking Hangzhou East Railway Station as an example.Second, the thesis makes a definition of user-friendly design and uses from perspectives of public services, public transportation hub, and high-speed railway station respectively, and then explores user-friendly design in the color use and facility use in these stations from perspectives of tourists’psychology, biology based on environmental behaviorism. At the same time, it states on the gap between a series of expectations and the real feelings on these user-friendly services in entrances and exits designs for tourists by case study, comparative studies, questionnaire, interview, and application of gap model of service quality.Last, the thesis gives solutions and suggestions on user-friendly designs and utilities of high-speed rail stations from real practice, that is, the user-friendly design should have improvements on the friendly facilities, space layout, house construction, and surrounding transportation, and the utility should focus on collecting various tourists’views from various channels, continuously developing facility use training, and realizing the maximum effects of user-friendly facilities.
