With the construction and operation of high-speed railways in China continuously, the capacity coordination problems between stations and lines of high-speed railway become increasingly prominent. Therefore, in order to achieve the capacity coordination between stations and lines of high-speed railway, the correct calculation and evaluation of high-speed rail station capacity have a very important significance in fully tapping the potential of station equipment, optimizing station transport organization and improving railway transport management efficiency. Currently, the capacity calculation of Chinese high-speed railway station still follows the classical theory system and calculation methods based on the target for station resources utilization in balance and utility ratio calculation methods. These are not suitable for high-speed railway station and unable to meet the need of its work., which has the characteristics such as only running passenger train, passenger traffic always changing in periods. Although some scholars to calculate high-speed rail station capacity in terms of graphic method, simulation method, but so far have not formed a unified sound theory and methodology, and the station personnel are still determined high-speed capacity empirically.Based on this situation, this article will analyze the characteristics and related factors of high-speed railway station capability, research calculation principles and methods of high-speed railway station and EMU depot capacity, study the capacity coordination assessment methods between stations and lines, in order to provide the theoretical basis and effective methods.for high-speed railway station capacity calculation.This paper mainly carried out the following work:(1) After analyzing the system structure and operation flow of high-speed railway station and summarizing the utilization characteristics of it, the calculation purpose and measure index of high-speed railway station capacity are put forward and the type and the related concepts of high-speed railway station capacity are made clear. Then, it is concluded that the calculation of high-speed railway station capacity is a dynamic calculation process, which depends on the characteristics of the operation demands and not a single fixed result.There aspects impacting high-speed railway station capacity are analyzed:station technical equipment, station operation parameters and rules and station operation organization scheme. Among them, it is clear that the station operation organization scheme is the key factor to calculate the capacity of the station.(2) In view of the characteristics of the high-speed railway station, the mechanism and principle of the high speed railway station capacity calculation is put forward.On the basis of the production scheduling problem, tabu search algorithm, orthogonal experiment theorv etc.,for solving the high-speed railway station theory (maximum) capacity and available capacity problems, the 0-1 programming models aiming at maximizing the train number are respectively established,which should meet the constrain demands:train type proportion,buffer time, established train operation plan etc. Afterwards, a double-stage optimization algorithm with heuristic decision rules combined with tabu search algorithm is designed. It offers a guideline to solve high-speed railway station capacity problems with different demand characteristics. Furthermore, the laws that different decision rules for train operation influence high-speed railway station capacity are studied quantitatively with the orthogonal experiment theory, and a series of conclusions are draw.(3)The EMU Depot work system and operation flows are analyzed, and its capacity problem is concluded as a multi-stage hybrid flow shop scheduling problem. The 0-1 programming models aiming at maximizing the EMU number is established, which should meet the constrain demands:different job flow EMU type ratio. Afterwards, a double-stage optimization algorithm with heuristic decision rules combined with hybrid neighborhood tabu search algorithm based on the longest active chain is designed. It provides a guideline to solve this problem.(4)The connotation of coordination between the high-speed railway hub station, EMU depot and the rail line sections is discussed, the concept of static coordination and dynamic coordination are made clear. At last, an assessment method for static and dynamic coordination is summarized and analyzed.(5)Taking the actual high-speed railway station and EMU depot as an example, the paper calculates all kind of capacity problems with above theories and methods, and compares it with the existing methods, such as the manual graphic method, the compression method, and proves the validity of these algorithms.
