After a rapid development of the first decade of this century, China highway has entered a new stage of the development. With the basic construction of the national eastern coastal areas’highway network, It is moving on to the Midwest of the country, where with a complex mountainous topography. A large number of mountain bridges program is on the agenda. However, with the reason of a special mountain topography, hydrology, geology, climatic conditions,the progressing of the construction has come across some problems, for example, it’s much more difficult to design and construct, the construct period is always being delayed and the accidents occurs frequently during the construction which result in a huge loss of property and casualty, arousing a great attention of relevant state department. In this theses, the author mainly analysis the risks during construct a high mountain bridge pier, conducting the research and analysis from the following aspects:1. Construction of the basic principles and concepts of the risk assessment of the mountainous bridge theory, explaining the risk characteristics and risk assessment, analysis and evaluate methods focus on the high bridge pier construction risks.2. Through a variety of assessment, AHP can accurately reflect the risk factors and effective method, accelerating genetic algorithm and quickly calculate out the important weights of various risk factors, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation can quantify the size of the risk. The accelerating genetic algorithm, AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods together, combining the advantages of the theory of the three methods, the formation of a comprehensive assessment of subjective and objective methods.3. Establishing a comprehensive evaluation method need high mountain bridge pier construction risk assessment model. Take Xiamen -Chengdu’s National Highway Bridge in Hunan Province as an engineering example. The methods can effectively reflect the construction processing risk factors, properly assessing the risk of high pier construction status, providing a theoretical basis for the subsequent risk decisions. It also demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the assessment methods, the risk assessment of mountain bridge has practical significance too.
