The Industrial technology level unceasing enhancement, promoted the progress of human civilization, and constantly promote the development of commodity economy. With the rapid economic development and the supply of goods becoming more quickly and effectively, the personalized degree of the products is rising. Therefore, The role of packaging machinery becomes more and more important in the packaging industry, consumer industries and commodity circulation field. The packaging industry has become an important pillar industry of regional economy, and one of the important index reflecting the level of economic development. Therefore, for the carton forming machines research is very practical.The work of this thesis is originates from machine reconstruction project of Xi’an Zhongqing Packaging machinery Co, LTD. The cam parts and connecting rod parts act as a core of CKX30 carton forming machine, the transmission efficiency, movement of Terminal, kinematics should have higher standards. In the actual operation of the machine, due to the various parameters of the CAM curve or the size of the connecting rod did not achieve the optimal, the movement of Terminal has deviation with the requested, and then the speed of forming is reduced and the forming is damaged. Therefore the Cam parts and connecting rod parts need to be studied.Creo is used to construct the three-dimensional modeling of the cam linkage mechanism in this paper. Then the structure and the kinematics is analyzed after establishing the simulation model. The size modification of the connecting rod mechanism is feasibly optimized by analyzing the structure and the kinematics and understanding the relationship between the each component and the working end. The cam contour curve is deduced through the differential equation of the connecting rod working end and the dynamics equations of the rod mechanism according to the connecting rod end work requirements of the motion law. At the same time, the gravity offset problem caused by the cam irregular geometries is analyzed and optimized. Finally, the impact between the connecting rod end is analyzed and verified by the position, velocity, acceleration and the roller cam contact force optimized through ADAMS.
