The design of mechanical products can not be separated from the mechanism.The selection and modeling of mechanism will affect the cycle,the cost and the quality of mechanical products directly.At present,most of people select mechanism is mainly rely on access to the relevant mechanism manuals,but there are some deficiencies in the mechanism manual,it led to the use of inconvenience and also cannot be accepted by the young engineers that lack of experience in design.By means of computer aided design and computer database integration,the development of common mechanism library is realized,which makes up for the shortage of existing mechanism manuals.Thus,the selection efficiency of the product mechanism is improved,the design time of the product mechanism is shortened,the design cost of the product is saved,and the preemptive market for the new product is obtained.The topic focuses on the selection of common mechanisms and the design of variant design.On the premise of studying the feasibility of the common mechanism library and the necessity of developing the common mechanism library,the top-down parameterized design of the mechanism in the mechanism library are adopted,combined with the secondary development technology and database technology of CAD software.Under the Creo software platform,the research and development of the common mechanism library system are carried out.The research work mainly includes:(1)The top-down parameterized design of the mechanism in the library of mechanism are carried out by using Creo 3D design software,and the motion simulation and finite element analysis of the designed mechanism are carried out.We can get comprehensive reference information of the mechanism.Combined with database technology,the designed mechanism is saved in digital way.(2)The function module of the common mechanism library system is designed in a reasonable way.From the perspective of users and developers,it is simple,practical and functional.In general,the common mechanism library system is divided into the module of mechanism query,the rapid variant design module,the simulation module,the dynamic management module,the kinematic analysis and the finite element analysis module,etc.(3)A deep study on how to implement the top-down modeling and parameterized modeling of the mechanism on Creo software.The feasibility of combining the framework model design with the parameterized design under the Creo environment is explored.And the developed system can extract information about the skeleton model and key parameters of the organization,etc.(4)The process of the secondary development of Creo software by using Creo/TOOLKIT are studied.Combined with the MFC visualization dialog technology,the main interface of the system and the dialog box of each function module are designed in detail.(5)The construction and management technology of database are studied.The information management of digital mechanism is realized through SQL Server database.The implementation of the application program enables the real-time update and opening of the mechanism library to be implemented.The development of the common mechanism library system is based on Creo platform,and the system covers the more comprehensive information of the existing mechanisms.The user can complete the selection and design of the mechanism by calling the corresponding modules in the system.It can also be designed to be added to the mechanism library according to the actual needs,constantly update the mechanism library,and better service for the design and development of new products.
