This thesis aimed at finding the specific solutions for the complex types, which are also hard to be managed, caused by the various types of the special parts of aviation structure. In terms of the Aviation, the main method to machine the aircraft structure parts is CNC machining, the demand of machining center fixture is big for machining center is popular. Therefore, by setting model, assembling, and managing the data of the machining center fixture in enterprises, this thesis tries to achieve the goal of the data’s sharing and security, and reduction of the manpower and economic cost validly.Firstly, this thesis analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of machining center fixture, its role in aviation manufacturing areas, and existing problems related, states the solutions to the problems in detail. Based on the NX5.0 modeling technology, create the machining center fixture library and perform 3D assembly, interference checking and simulation centered on assembly for it. In addition, this paper also takes PDM as the platform to realize the compatibility and welding of assembly simulation data and database.Secondly, this thesis makes a group of typical machining center fixture as an example. A series of work based on assembly has been done, include using the method of assembly sequence in the NX5.0 to achieve the assembly process, using the PMI (production manufacturing information) module to describe the position of fixture in space and then to generate the 3D visual assembly drawing, the generation of assembly animation, the simulation of clamping action. It is the main points of this paper which are the 3D assembly of machining center fixture and simulation based on assembly. Finally, the concentrated machining process is closely depended on the good stability of fixtures. To ensure the clamping force is enough to keep the stable process and the processing components not damaged, this thesis adopts ansys12.0 to clamp fixture for machining parts, analyzes the clamping deformation, and then draws the scope of clamping force that was stable and undamaged for the components as the data reference for hydraulic and pneumatic clamping at last.
