| Based on the existing water hydraulic throttle valve, we design a novel water hydraulic control valve by voice coil motor. The voice coil motor has the advantages of small size, high control accuracy, a larger output power and output displacement, fast response, etc. It uses the voice coil motor to control the control valve’s opening. The major work of this paper is as follow:(1) Introduce the development of the water hydraulic control valves, the voice coil motor control valves, especially the research challenge of voice coil motor driven hydraulic control valves, summarize main contents of this paper.(2) Introduce the common throttle valve structures, design the ball-type voice coil motor control valve, analysis the working principle of the control valve, determine the control valve main dimensions and the required minimum spool driving force, combined with the analysis of mechanics calculation. Choose to meet the requirements of voice coil motor with the calculation.(3) Introduce the mathematical model of the voice coil motor, then analysis the its position control, prove the feasibility of voice coil motor precise control requirements; Introduce the mathematical model of the voice coil motor control valve, then analysis the velocity and pressure distribution of interior flow field, and analysis the flow-displacement and the flow-pressure character of the control valve by using AMESim simulation.(4) Design a voice coil motor performance test platform, conduct the current-force performance experiment, then analysis the experiment result, combined with the theoretical value; Design voice coil motor control valve performance testing platform, conduct the flow-displacement performance experiment of them, the analysis the experiment result of them, combined with the simulation result, especially the reason that relate to the flow characteristic of the voice coil motor control valve. |
