The Research On Regional Expression Of The Contemporary Architecture Morphological Feature

With the development of multi-building technique and new building thought, Chinese architects pursuit the modern "international-style" and give up the cultural environment and social background which belongs to the architecture design. The result leads to the lack of cultural connotation construction, architectural form confusion and other problems. The question should be concerned to all of the global architect and theorists is how to maintain the continuity of architectural culture and content, performance and regional architecture.Regional architectural expression is an important way to fight against the background of globalization convergence architecture. It has become an integral part of the driving force of regional architectural design. Comparing the focus on energy conservation of the developed countries to appropriate technology in developing countries, the awakening of Japanese concerning to the rise of modern architecture building to South Korean pay attention of local buildings, and to the regional mainland forms which reflects the regional diversity of contemporary architectural expression, all the phenomenon show the diversity of the domestic regional architectural design developments. The thesis analyze the current situation of contemporary regional architecture developments, then try to find the inadequate of the design. Then the paper summarize the factors which influence the creation of regional architectural form:the natural environment, cultural resources and economic technological factors. To explain the regional expression, this paper made a more detailed discussion of the phenomenon, analyze strategies and approaches in building design for the architectural form of regional expression under the influence of various factors. Finally, the thesis show the architecture design of Dalian Shen Gu institute of traditional Chinese medicine which is guided by my professor as a regional practice case. The purpose is to explain the exploration summarized at the beginning and make a summary of the design process at the same time.
