Investigation Of The Expression Of Regionalism For Modern Architectural Design In Zhejiang

Under the background of globalization and pluralism,increasing architectural design methods have been developed and coexisted.As one of the most important design factors,the design method of regionalism in architecture,also should be focused and play a positive role during the design process.Moreover,it could not only insist in the aspect of regional culture characteristics,but also suit to the tendency of modern architectural design methods.Through the deep excavation and extraction of regionalism in architectural design in Zhejiang,this thesis has focus on summary of architectural regional design methods,in a target to the promotion of the prosperous development of modern architecture.The first chapter began with explanation of the research background and necessity.Then,through the definition of the relevant concept and the investigation of the exotic and domestic theory,the related opinions have been proposed.In the second chapter,three main factors influenced the expression of the regionalism in architecture has been selected through the analysis and investigation in the regional architecture in Zhejiang.As a result,three main design methods have been discovered.As the main content of this thesis,from chapter three to chapter five,the designing of architectural space,esigning of appearance and esigning of material in modern regional architectures have been investigated.In the process,its design method has been extracted and concluded.The last chapter as a conclusive part,the expectations of its application in modern architecture has been made.
