In the dissertation, Al/CuO films is selected as energetic materials and six kinds of Al/CuO energetic semiconductor bridge(Al/CuO-SCB for short) are designed. lAlW5min experiment and electrostatic discharge experiment are used to study the safety of Al/CuO-SCB. The ANSYS software is used to simulate the temperature field of Al/CuO-SCB under the electrostatic discharge. In addition, this paper makes a preliminary study on the non-contact ignition performance of Al/CuO-SCB. Major conclusions are summarized as follows:(1) Compared with the constant current safety of polysilicon Semiconductor Bridge, the constant current safety of Al/CuO-SCB isn’t reduced. In addition, the results of 1A1W5min experiment and infrared micro-thermometric technology show that the quality of the bridge is bigger, the safety of Al/CuO-SCB is better. Under the same quality of the bridge, the safety of Al/CuO-SCB which the bridge shape is rectangular is better than the Al/CuO-SCB which the bridge shape is V-angel.(2) The ANSYS software is used to simulate the temperature field of Al/CuO-SCB under the electrostatic discharge.
