RCC gravities have occupied an increasingly important role in water conservancy construction in recent years. RCC is different from ordinary concrete, it’s harsh concrete and has no slump. As the use of silo pouring and thin-layer, it has advantages of fast construction and material saving. Through the tireless efforts of the vast number of research workers, RCC dam construction technology already has a fairly mature technology and characteristics of high ash and less use of cement characteristics.Due to the incorporation of a large number of fly ash, heat of hydration rate is significantly reduced while the dam rises faster, resulting in the deck contacts with air in a short time, less heat emanates and more heat concentration, leading to the formation of a large thermal stress, making it easier to has dam cracks which harm to the dam safety.Based on element analysis software ANSYS, the thesis does the simulation analysis of temperature field and stress field during RCC dam construction, considering the ambient temperature changes, heat of hydration of cement changes with age, eonstruetion veloeity, stratification, elastic modulus of concrete and creep degree change with age. proposed the implementation of process simulation. In the construction process simulation, by changing water cooling pipes scheme, pouring deck insulation, change of concrete pouring temperature and concrete pouring temperature, such as temperature measures are analyzed, and thus the construction program is optimized during construction period. The best solution in the final construction of RCC temperature control is confirmed by comparing temperature stress.The analysis yields the following conclusions:(1) The temperature of concrete dam can be reduced by using cooling pipes, and the pipe cooling solution should be based on actual need, the space between pipes can be increased and water temperature can be higher appropriate to save costs.(2) The rest time between each pouring layer should be reduced and even exonerated to make full use of precooling measures.(3) Surface insulation measures of the dam can help to prevent surface cracks, but have a lesser impact on the entire dam temperature field.
