Container transport has the advantages of high efficiency, high efficiency, high cooperation, multimodal transport, etc. In recent years, the proportion of the Yangtze River waterway cargo shows a rising trend. Container liner becomes uppermost transport mode of materials of the foreign trade, showing the trend of specialization, maximization, centralization, scale, science and technology. With the implementation of the strategy of the Yangtze river economic belt, the demand of container transport will be increased in the further. The effective use of transport resources are particularly important. Research of routes optimization is less at home and abroad in inland river. The objective function is the economic benefits. Relying on transportation projects in Sichuan Province in 2013, "Research on Routes Optimization of Container Liner Transport in Sichuan Yangtze River Port and Development", a more systematic study of routes optimization of container liner in Sichuan is made from investigation and analysis, efficiency evaluating index of container transport of the Yangtze river, the establishment of the model and the analysis of example.①Based on, the policy environment and basic conditions, status and trends of container transport in Sichuan Yangtze River were analyzed. Although it was restricted by channel, three gorges ship lock, port and ship, container transport had a good development environment in Sichuan province. Quantitative and qualitative forecasting methods were applied. Traffic volume of container in Sichuan Province and container throughput of the Yangtze River port were obtained.②A model of effectiveness evaluation of container transport along Yangtze based on economic benefit and energy consumption was put forward. Indicator weight was calculated with the method of AHP. The weighted average method was adopted. Example showed that the model was reasonable.③A model of routes optimization of container liner transport based on economic benefit and energy consumption was established. A model of routes optimization of container liner based on economic was revised. The decision variables were fleet allocation and speed. Parameters were routes berthing time, diesel oil consumption of navigation and anchor, the number of ship etc.④A model of effectiveness evaluation and a model of routes optimization of container liner were used. Example of optimization was analyzed. LINGO11.0 optimization software was introduced. Routes of container liner of A company in Sichuan was optimized. Result of the optimization was close to the actual situation.A "unblocked, efficient, safe, green" system of modernization in inland river is built. It adapts to the needs of the development of container transport in Yangtze River. Economic benefit and environmental benefit are comprehensive considered. A model of effectiveness evaluation and a model of routes optimization of container liner are built. The evaluation and optimization theory of container transport are exaggerated. The rational allocation of routes and ship resources have an application Value.
