Speeding is one of the main causes of road traffic accidents. In order to prevent and reduce highway traffic accidents, the vehicle must be traveling on the highway speed which limited dynamic reasonably ensure that the vehicle at a safe speed.Truck plays an important role on cargo transport. However, the proportion of truck accidents and harm it causes is much higher than cars. The characteristics of the mountainous highway road linear is complex and road conditions changes greatly, the accidents probability of a truck running on a mountain highway is higher than on the city motorway, and resulting in greater risk. Therefore, in connection with the characteristics of mountain highway, driving speed analysis of security research on truck in mountain highway, which is effective and great significance in preventing and reducing truck accidents in the mountainous highway traffic.The theory of vehicle safety, the characteristics of mountain highway driving, the operational characteristics of vehicles on a mountain highway were analyzed in this paper, and studied the construction method of a truck model, built a certain type of vehicle model trucks based on the platform of multi-body dynamics simulation software ADAMS/Car; established a special section of the mountainous highway road model; studied and proposed a certain type of truck simulation method based on mountain highways, built safe driving speed simulation system for a certain type of truck under no-load and full-load simulation experimental study carried out with speed through the vertical speed, lateral acceleration, side angle, front and rear tires of the normal reaction force to analyze and judge whether it is on safe state while truck driving. After setting a different velocity values for probe test repeatedly, and the test results are compared with the judged parameter threshold, then get the safety speed of the truck model in the simulation section. The results of this study can have a useful reference for reasonable speed of trucks in mountainous highway.
