| The expressway traffic is closely related with people’s daily life. The security ofexpressway traffic will directly affect people’s life standards. As one of the importantcomponents of expressway traffic, the security of expressway traffic is of vitalimportance, due to its specific design and traffic environment. The rate-limiting is oneof the significant measures to ensure the safety of expressway traffic becauseoverspeeding is one of major leading factors of expressway traffic accidents. At present,our country sets rate-limiting usually using single standard in the whole line, it is notvery reasonable because not taking the effect of different vehicle models and differentroad conditions into account at the same time. Studying the safe speeds in differentvehicle-road conditions is significant to relize reasonable speed limit and reduce trafficaccidents.This paper studied the simulation method of vehicle safe speed in differentvehicle-road conditions. Firstly, the vehicle safety In different dangerous conditions wasanalyzed, the evaluate parameters of corresponding safe vehicle conditions wereselected and the threshold was set, which formed the standard of safe vehicle speedThen, the modeling theory of ADAMS/Car software was analyzed, and focus on thevehicle modeling theory. The safe speed simulation system of expressway vehicle wasconstructed, including the truck model, road model, driver model, vehicle-road couplingmodel, simulated test model and safe speed testing model. Finally, this paper set upsimulating scene of potential dangerous roads, selected different simulation sectionsaccording to the different simulation conditions and conducts repeat simulatingexperiments to determine the safe speed of truck in certain road. And the conclusionwas compared and tested with the rate-limiting conclusions in different vehicle modelsand in the whole line. Meanwhile, the rationality of dynamic rate-limiting and thefeasibility of expressway vehicle safe speed simulating system were proved, whichprovided a basis for the rational and dynamic rate-limiting of expressway. |
