Research On The Humanization Design Of Business Hotel Guestroom

Business hotel has certain particularity comparing with other hotel product, such asthe consumer groups and the using mode, therefore the design of the guestroom isdifferent from other type hotel rooms. With the change of the social structure of thepopulation, business hotel consumer groups changed, and showing the trend ofdiversification, so the design of business hotel guestroom should meet the needs of avariety of people’s requirement. In addition, due to the continuous development ofscience and technology, electronic equipment, bathroom facilities renewal quickly,which makes the electric utility system of business hotel room to be accommodatedwith the new requirements. However, some designers have no special attention onbusiness hotel room seriously, lacking understanding of the user demand, so theydirectly copy other types of hotel room layout, following the same pattern, which hasmany problems. While the research on the humanization of business hotel roomdesign is inadequate. Therefore, this article based on the function requirement as astarting point,with the high-end business hotel rooms as the research object, explore themethod of humanized design of business hotel room in its layout, interior design,facilities and equipment.First of all, through the survey of more than a dozen business hotel, with themethod of skeletonizing, photos, interviewing guests experience and collection of guestonline comment, summarize existing problem of business hotel guestroom design.Secondly, study on the demand of different groups of rooms’ user, and collectoutstanding foreign design of the hotel rooms, sum up the experience and methods ofhumanized design. Then, on the basis of relevant theoretical research, put forward thekey points of room layout design, interior design. Finally, with the practical project----Xiamen Guanyinshan complex, deepening and modify the hotel guestroom part,complete the preliminary interior design, in order to verify the conclusions of the study.
