Study On Human Oriented Design Of Guest Room In Business Hotel

With the increasing development of business hotels, consumers are paying more attention to the comfort of hotel rooms. Based on the survey, it was found that domestic hotels focus on the design of hotels' public space, while ignoring the importance of hotel rooms design. Some western developed countries attach great importance to the design of hotel rooms, highlight the humanized design of rooms and focus on the comfort of rooms,for that the comfort hotel directly embodies the humanization of hotel design.An analysis is made about the characteristics and existing problems of humanized design of the room space, which is based on the survey of business hotel room space's humanized design via field studies, literature reading and sample analysis and takes the standard rooms in Beijing's five-star business hotels built after 2000. Firstly, summing up the existing problems in hotel rooms through in-depth research of standard rooms in business hotels, field measurements, graphic drawing, photograph and sorting network guests reviews, it was founded that inadequate infrastructure, single mode, inadequate thinking for different customers' need and some other problems are pervasive in today's hotels. Secondly, based on the related theory "human engineering" and "environmental psychology" applied in the gusts room design, the thesis aims to put forward innovative approaches of humanized design of business hotel rooms. And then, collecting excellent cases of humanized design of guest rooms in domestic business hotels, summarizing the principles of details, security, convenience, comfort, and environmental friendly that the humanized design of guest room should follow. Finally, the unification of humanism and ecological environmental protection, humanity and individuality, humanity and humanity spirits, and the development trend of humanism to the internationalization are to be proposed.The study on humanized design of guest rooms in Business Hotel has perfected and developed the existing theoretical research and design patterns, and provided a practical significance for guest rooms design in business hotels.
