Sports architecture is one of the major public buildings in modern city, due to itsspecial run-time and characteristics of the indoor thermal environment, he humanbody thermal comfort requirements will also be different. With the2008Beijing Olympics, led the national stadium construction boom.because of its large space and large depth, air conditioning and heating equipmentmust be used to meet its indoor thermal comfort. So sports buildings are often dividedinto the class of building that huge investment, high operating costs and energyconsumption. Make full use of passive means can effectively improve the indoorthermal environment in summer and transitional seasons, improve indoor comfortand reduce cooling energy consumption.Based on the above background, selecting12constructions in different locationand years by Xi’an, it is concluded that the using features of Xi’an university stadium.First, the vast majority of colleges and universities in Xi’an Stadium did not install airconditioning equipment, the new stadium is equipped with a small number of heatingequipment, but did not put into use. Investigate its reason mainly has two aspects: oneis because the school consider students have summer and winter vacation. Becausethe lack of funds, the installation of air conditioning and heating equipment will cost alarge amount of money. Second, the summer temperature is too high, theenvironment is overheating and need to provide a large number of fresh air. So thisarticle in view of the problems existing in the university gymnasium in xi ’an region, choose suitable for passive cooling technology in xi’ an region, improve university gymnasium in summer and transition seasons of indoor thermal environment, improvethe indoor environment of comfort. Finally, in view of the main part of the passive cooling, shading and naturalventilation, using computer software to simulate the Ecotec and Airpak, study theinfluence of various factors on the indoor thermal pressure ventilation. By Ecotectsoftware simulation, heavy envelope relative to the light, the indoor temperature isdecreased and the interior temperature fluctuation is small, the indoor heat stability ispreferably, therefore, improve the indoor comfort. According Airpak software analysis, additional non-powered hood help improve ventilation. The higher the height of theexhaust vents, the better ventilation of indoor hot organization; according to thevolume of the building, determine the number of outlets and area to optimize thermalpressure ventilation; The lower the location of the inlet, the area is lesser, good forthermal pressure ventilation, in this case the inlet analysis from the ground0.4m,select an area of120m2. Recommendations designed inlet value here, the air inlet area:building air intakes in exterior wall area=18~1:10; the number of Unpowered cap, building volume/air changes of every hood, designed for the gym later offer someeffective reference data and feasible design method and the suggestion. For futurestadium designed to provide an effective and viable reference data design methodsand recommendations.
