Punching sheet with magnetic pole is an important part of hydro-generator,which consist of compound die and punching. With the development of factories,the demand on its quality is becoming more and more high.In order to achieve lowercost of manufacturing, shorter manufacturing cycle time and less workload of diedesign, finding a kind of design method which can implement parametric design oncompound die of punching sheet with magnetic pole is urgent.This thesis did some research work as follows:The design on structure, function and process of system is done. Given thatthere are many kinds of parts, but their structures are similar, modular designmethod is proposed. Considering the actual problems of compound die, theintegrated program of UG software is developed.The key algorithm of parametric design is researched. Space coordinate istransformed and then is used in assemble of compound die. This thesis proposedthree algorithm for side location and searching, and found the optimal algorithm,then it is used in location of target, at last the precise location of feature modeling isrealized. Geometric constraint method is researched, and the original geometrictarget is redefined, which enlarge the range and improve the efficiency. Thealgorithm of graphics arrangement is researched, the problem that view interferenceand overlap might happen during automatic drawing.At last, the parametric design system of punching sheet with magnetic pole isdeveloped with the platform of UG NX6.0and VS2010. With modular idea, threedimensional modeling and assemble method of compound die parts are proposed,which realized automatic modeling and assemble on magnetic poles with differentstructures and parameters. According to the structure size, standard engineeringdrawing can be obtained, which means3d and2d engineering drawing of magneticpole with compound die can be drew automatically.
