With the nation’s support and promotion for the peacefully using of the atomicenergy. As an irreplaceable technical skill, the civil non-power nuclear technologyhas been making many improvements and applying widely in recent years. Up tonow, it has been successfully using in many industries such as iron and steel,petroleum, chemical industry, papermaking, medicine, agriculture, environmentprotection etc. However, the using of atomic technology may pollute theenvironment even be harmful for people’s health and life while brings economicbenefits and social benefits for human being. Because of improper safety andsupervision, radioactive sources are leaked or lost occasionally. These accidentsmay cause the losing of national prsession or harm people’s health. What is worse,they also can deprive people’s lives. In such an atmosphere, the measure of theradiation in environment has been carried on gradually around the country.Through the long range supervision to the dose of radiation in environment. On theone hand, we can make unified management and supervision; On the other hand, wecan decrease the accidents which are caused by leaking or losing. Throughmeasuring the existence of radiation sources by setting an upper limit and a lowerlimit to prevent the radiation sources from being leaked or lost. But in the work ofsupervising the dose of radiation in environment, the implementation ofcommunication and satellite position accuracy is an important element which limitsthe coming on of the supervision. Therefore, this object starts with embeddednetwork communication. It studies, analyzes and count up the using methods andthe optical handing of all kinds of GPRS modules and GPS modules, solves theproblems of the implementation of communication and multi-tasking which exist nradiation sources safety management system and offers the effective theory basisand directions for the supervision of radiation in environment.
