In the worldwide context, with car ownership and the increasing demand for it,some large and medium cities of the road traffic problem increasingly prominent. Inorder to solve this problem, many countries have established various expresstransportation, typically bus rapid transit （BRT）expressway and urban viaduct,consisting of both fast line double express transportation system to reduce thepressure on urban transport has played a huge role. But with the deepening of thedouble express operations, double express transportation system in the operationmanagement coordination and security problems are emerging. Similarly is the21stcentury with the progress of urbanization in China to speed up the urban rapidincrease of private car ownership, urban road traffic problem increasinglyprominent.In this paper, by analyzing the characteristics of urban rapid transit systemsand urban elevated road traffic lay the groundwork for the study of dual-ExpressTransport Coordination of management and security.
