In recent years, with the deepening of China’s national economic development,deeply involved in the international division of production and the global community,and further integration into the global economy, the rapid growth of China’s dealingsthe material with the world, China’s economic ties with the world’s increasingly close,greatly promoted deepening development of China’s shipping. Therefore, portmachinery as the important material handling equipment between China goods andthe world’s, its safety is widespread concerned in the industry and the country. In thenatural disasters impacting of port machinery, wind is frequent disaster second only toflooding. Frequent typhoon is not only easy to cause damage to port machinery,productivity slows, port enterprises economic losses, but also a threat to the lives andsafety of staff, affecting port safety and production.In this paper, studying the typical portal crane among port machineries, throughthe analysis of the mechanical properties of portal crane under wind load, gets itswindproof security indicator data, while building windproof safety analysis method,using the windproof security index data, analysis portal cranes windproof safety,andassess portal cranes windproof security index, predicted portal crane safety underwind load, and provide reference for timely selecting the appropriate wind strategy.The main contents of research are as following:(1) Analyze the mechanical properties of the portal crane under wind loads:Create portal cranes finite element model, determine the applicability of the finiteelement model, analysis mechanical properties of portal cranes applied wind load,extract relevant windproof safety indicator data, providing a basis data for furtheranalysis of portal crane windproof safety.(2) Build windproof safety assessment method: analyze AHP method, combinedportal cranes windproof security own characteristics, establish windproof safetyevaluation system framework suitable for portal crane, analyze portal craneswindproof safety evaluation indicators, determine the right and synthesis methods,and use the wind safety indicator data to examples, testing the feasibility of windproof safety assessment method.(3) Establish windproof security assessment and windproof strategy platform:based on the above researching process, research parametric analysis of portal cranemechanical properties, research process analysis of portal crane windproof safetyassessment, in Microsoft Visual Studio2010programming platform in the C#programming language for developers environment, by means of procedure calls,establish portal cranes windproof strategy platform, provide a reference for therealization of windproof security automatic quick analysis, timely developmentwindproof strategy of portal cranes.
