With the continuous development of higher education in China,there are a lot ofold and new campuses in the renovation and expansion, and the design of campuslandscape space has gained more recognition in the recent years. One of the significantchanges in the design process is the taking of users’ needs into account, which emphasizesthe importance of user involvement and feedback in soliciting user input,and make t hecampus landscape design becomes more humane.This thesis analyze the elements which affects landscape design, and classificationthem in several ranges. Then to make a detailed understanding of the users’ behavioraland psychological. Make a field research in Hebei University of Technology Ding Ziguarea and Bei Chen area’s landscape design, and make a Questionnaire to the users. At lastsorting out the survey results, post some substantive suggestions for the campus’s buildingin the future.The thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly talk about themeaning and purpose of this essay, the research status of domestic and foreignuniversities.Chapter two first reviewed the developing history of college landscape. Andintroduce the old and new areas of Hebei University of Technology.The third chapterfocuses on the design factors of the university campus landscape, and Analysis its users’crowd psychology and behavior.Chapter four classify and analyzes the elements of campuslandscape.Then summarizes the university campus landscape design principles ofhuman.Chapter five compares Hebei University of Technology Ding Zigu area and BeiChen area ‘s campus plaza, teaching areas, students living areas and sports areas of thelandscape, combined with user feedback, proposed the construction of its campus toprovide a reference for the later.The sixth Chapter looking to the future of the universitycampus landscape development, summarized the general rules of how to make the campuslandscape more humanized. Provides a reference for the campus landscape environment.
