Research On The Evolution Of Landscape Spaces In Chongqing’s University Campuses

With the great development of the society, the university campus, which provide high-quality talent education for students, are also entered a period of high-speed development. Almost all kinds of colleges and universities are facing in the situation of adjustment, renovation, expansion, and relocation. The contradiction between "limited land resources" and "university development needs" is increasingly prominent. It will be very helpful to make full use of mountain land and improve the utilization rate of the campus space, in the meanwhile of meeting the demand of the university campus. Through the construction history of university campus in Chongqing city, this paper summed up the evolution characteristics and problems of campus’ landscape space in about half a century, in order to providing some reference in campus landscape planning and adjustment.The core content of this paper:1、By consulting the historical documents, this paper reviewed the morphology change of both domestic and foreign university campus, and attempt to elaborate the evolution of university campus landscape in different ways, such as function layout, structure, dynamics, and explains the relationship with social economy, politics, culture and so on.2、Taking Chongqing’s university campus landscape space as the research object, and investigating the types within the university campus landscape, this paper discussed the construction situation and the history of campus landscape space, summarizes the features of the Chongqing’s University campus landscape in functional layout, road system, the core landscape, entrance and the culture landscape.3、Based on the evolution of university campus landscape in Chongqing, this paper summarizes the influencing factors of campus landscape development as well as the problems in the process of evolution in the last part. And according to the development of university landscape, put forward the planning and design strategy.Through the work above, I summarizes the following evolution trend of university campus landscape space in Chongqing City:1、The campus landscape space layout was simple at first then becoming propagation, functional zoning from random into the style, all of this going scientific.2、The road system using object from a single line to the vehicle compound use, function and distinguish becoming more obvious, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional form.3、Landscape campus core space has undergone when during Academy time, while during the Soviet era, the core stringed, and to now change into a multi partition process.4、Entrance landscape functions from single to complex, from closed to open, the recognition by the similarity to the outstanding personality.5、Cultural landscape space form is more abundant, and gradually formed the system; to strengthen the sense of belonging characteristics, landscape space is growing larger, and influence;...
