Miniature circuit breaker as a low voltage protection electric appliances, occupiedmore and more important position in present power distribution network. The applicationsof miniature circuit breaker are often household and terminal of power distribution network,so it’s reliability is directly related to the safety of person and electrical equipments.Today, intelligence is an important development direction of low-voltage circuitbreaker. In order to meet the market demand and enhance the competitiveness ofproducts, weneed to design an intelligent controller with good performance and reasonable price andconsummate protective function.Therefore, the design in this article has important practicalsignificance and practicalvalue.This paper mainly studied hardware circuit and software program of intelligent controlmodule for miniature circuit breaker. Hardware circuit mainly studied the current andvoltage sampling and power supply for circuit. These parts are also the key and difficultcomponent of this project. In this design, used PIC16F873A microcontroller from AmericanMicrochip company as the control core, used C language as the programming language. Finallycomplete the design of hardware and software in intelligent control module for miniature circuitbreaker.
