With the development of automobile industry, automobile electronicsbecome the core competitiveness of the car. From the lamp, the wiper tothe ABS(Anti-skid Brake System), PKE(Passive Keyless Entry),automatic parking, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), Anti-pinch Window,massage seat and so on, the customer need more comfort,more convenientand more individuation. All the OEMs consider the car electronic as oneof the most main basis of product positioning. It can be said that withoutmajor development in the field of physical chemistry, the development ofautomobile electronic decides the future of the car. Automotive bodycontrol is now the most mature field in all automotive electronics industry,and the most intuitive one felt by consumers.Auto electronic products work in very bad environment, not onlycomplex but also with a lot of destruction of human mistake. So theproducts must be more reliability and have fault protection. It requireshardware engineer use rich experience and long time to design a circuitwith many validations base on these standards that the cost is too high.Thus all of the component used in auto electronics products must pass aseries of rigorous tests. The manufactures must establish and improvescientific research and production management process. After that thecomponent can be claimed as an auto-level component. With someespecial functions in car, many chip manufacture design a large variety ofchips. Therefore auto electronic is different from consumer electronics andindustrial electronics, it need more special platform design software.The target of this paper is show a system for automatic hardwaredesign for Vehicle body control module. After inputting the requirement of the car, such as the load information, the input/output list, the system candraw the schematic automatically. This topic is different from the previousother similar software. Other software is by such as genetic algorithm tofind suitable components of analog circuit for specific functions. But thistopic is based on the existing typical circuits, to meet the demand offunction and performance by reasonable collocation. This system also canselect the suitable chip or module according the requirement. It is a test ofdeveloping a software system, drawing the electrical schematicautomatically in special field, and getting an optimized solution with a lowcost and satisfy the customer requirement. The first target of this system isto cover the requirement to pass every validation, and the second is thecost optimization. Using this system, hardware engineer can pay less timefor drawing the picture but pay more for the reliability.
