Monitor is the main instrument using for test the character of patient clinically. In general, it can monitor the flowing main parameters, including ECG, RESP, SpO2, NIBP, TEMP and IBP. For monitor production enterprise, it is very important how to test the monitor performance quickly and efficiently, because it not only can accelerate the development and coming into the market of product , but also can discover the shortage of the design. For the test of monitor ECG parameter performance, the traditional test method is mainly use various ECG simulator to output simulant ECG signal. but most ECG simulators all can only output several kinds ECG signals that the frequency is fixed. The method can't carry out a test spreading all over frequency for monitor. Currently, another method is using arbitrarily waveform generator to output simulant ECG signal, generally a ECG signal need to be divided into seven forms to do, the workload that carry on a test of all frequency is very huge and trivial. It is thus clear that the test method of ECG performance traditionally have shortcoming that the workload is big and the test time is long. We make use of the LabVIEW software development environment and the software of IMAQ Visions and software of OCR of the company ,American NI,and adopt a multi-function DAQ card of NI PCI-6221M and IMAQ card of NI PCI-1411 to buildup a Monitor ECG performance automatically test system. LabVIEW is a graphic software development environment released by the American NI( the National Instruments) company in October of 1986, and The biggest advantage of using LabVIEW is to raise the efficiency of development. The IMAQ Vision is a set of function database that includes various picture processing function, it provide a powerful development function for the image handled. The software of OCR is a piece of additional tool of the IMAQ Vision. It is be used to provide the high speed and dependable character reading function under the condition that industry handles bad quantity images. The test principle of this system is that making use of the LabVIEW on computer to born and output ECG simulant signal through the AO channel of a multi-function DAQ card of the NI PCI-6221M ,then input the signal into monitor through the ECG conductivity equipment ,at the same time ,using camera and PCI-1411 IMAQ card to acquire the information on the monitor screen continuously.Grabing a picture from video signal stream through IMAQ Vision software after the showing of monitor is stability.then making use of the software of OCR to carry on character recognition, lastly...
