| With the continuous economic development, the development of engineeringconstruction has been promoted to a large extent. The characteristics of it appear to belarge in scale and diversified in investment. On the other hand, lots of foreignconstruction companies which have advanced management experience andtechnology burst into China, making the competition of building industry becomesmuch fiercer. Therefore, to change construction management mode becomes theprimary task to promote the core competitiveness for building industry in China.Based on the above background, the paper takes the engineering constructionmanagement mode as a study object. Firstly, the current development situations ofengineering construction are pointed out in the paper. Secondly, after analyzing thecurrent situations, the paper indicates problems of the management mode. Finally,solutions, such as using the creative PMC and EPC mode to manage a largeconstruction project, are pointed out for resolving the problems. Meanwhile, the basicframework of this new mode is made up in this paper, and how to apply it into realconstruction management is also discussed.From this perspective, the theme of this academic study has particular theoreticaland pragmatic meaning. Managers can fully realize the importance and necessity ofrenew the engineering construction management mode. Only though continuouslystudy some advanced management knowledge and experiences, and apply them intothe real management, can we promote the core competitiveness of whole buildingindustry. |
