| With improvement of life quality, more and more people focus on the issue of safety. As the living, working and entertainment places, the safety of structures is important, which relies on the strict and scientific quality control and management. As the companies being responsible for the projects, they should not only focus on the quality control, but also strictly control the project preparation, design and final test. Their main task is to coordinate with the departments for design, supervision and construction via quality control, intensify the quality control management for all the three aspects, and make sure that the projects achieve the expected quality requirement and target.This thesis applies the methodology of using applications to testify the theory. On one hand, it illustrates the mature quality management theory, especially for the contents and methods for the construction quality management. On the other hand, the author testifies the applicability of the theory by participating in the project’Yin He Building’, how to solve practical problems using theory, and deepen the understanding for the principle of quality management.This thesis investigated the background of project quality management and summarized the current studies in the literature. Theoretical analysis regarding engineering project quality management was discussed. Then, quality control and management in different phases of engineering projects were elaborated. Finally, case study of the "Yinhe Tower" project was conducted to analyze the steps and factors involved during the time between committing to construction and handing. This work could be used as guidance for qualify management of engineering project for construction companies. |
