As the basis of modern industry, economic development and internet,electricity production is a indispensable public utilities of human society.Expected in the next decade, China’s power industry will transition from thedevelopment stage to the rapid and stable development stage, demand forelectricity will continue to grow steadily. DCS system(Distributed ControlSystem,DCS)-an intelligent type of network control system, the use ofcomputer technology for businesses throughout the production process,centralized control, operation and management, but at the same time, it ispossible to spread the risk, decentralized some functions. With advances intechnology and economic development, China’s electric power industrytechnology maturing, distributed control systems used in various powerplants in our country more widely. Raise the level of plant automationapplication marks the DCS system as a core part of the power plant control,safety DCS system, reliable operation is essential. Guohua Taicang PowerGroup to achieve our first flue gas desulfurization and denitrificationsystems running simultaneously with the host power generation companies,the level of automation in the country in a leading position. However, withthe continuous improvement of the technical requirements and productupgrading requirements Guohua Taicang Power Group#8machine DCSsystems need to be reformed.This paper describes the meaning of the DCS system, clarifying DCSsystem development process, application status and direction ofdevelopment, a detailed description of the various components of the DCSsystem and every part of their function. Then introduced the Guohua Power#8machine too DCS system and the practical problems of its existence,followed by the need to introduce8machine DCS system hardwarereconstruction, Finally, draw the same model DCS system during the sameperiod-Wushashan Zhejiang Datang International Power Plant4×600MWunits and Inner Mongolia Power Company Jinglong2×600MW sub-criticalcoal-fired air-cooling unit experiences a hardware upgrade time, to ensurethe unit under the premise of operational safety and economic benefits,designed three systems hardware reconstruction program, Then according tothe characteristics of the DCS system hardware upgrades, the principles ofconstructing index system and build ideas, too established Guohua Power# 8machine DCS system hardware reforms comprehensive evaluationindex system, and uses a combination of assessment methods-TOPSISmodel based on entropy weight, reform program for the three evaluated andsorted to identify technical feasibility, economic good and sustainablesolution.Based on the evaluation results show that these three basic programsare technically feasible, but the program fail to meet the two historical datastorage and other issues, and the relatively high cost of the investment;while the program is technically able to meet the needs of a transformation,run better, but the workload is relatively large, long duration, the cost isrelatively high, and the transformation of many hardware cannot be recycled,resulting in a waste of resources; investment program three lowest cost,technically able to meet the demand, many hardware to recycling, and asmall amount of work, time is short, strong sustainability, security, goodoperating results, the best solution is Guohua Taicang power#8machineDCS system reconstruction.
