| Currently, urban transportation network has developed more and more. The rapiddevelopment of intercity railway construction makes intercity rail become a majorform to bear passenger transport among adjacent cities. It also acts as an importantpart of traffic systems in certain areas of some cities. The characters such ashigh-speed, small groups and high-density promote the rapid formation ofurbanagglomeration and closer connection between cities.Xiangtan section project of Changzhutan intercity railway project is a majorconstruction project of integration of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan, with a longconstruction period, large investment and irreversibility, etc. For these reasons,undertaking feasibility study on the railway project is vital important before carryingout. The paper, based on Changzhutan inter-city railway Xiangtan station project asthe research object, carries out a feasibility study from market, technology, economy,environmental protection, benefits and risk aspects. The first part describes thebackground and significance, outlines the main contents, methods and structures ofresearch, as well as conducts status of domestic and foreign feasibility study. Thesecond part discusses from the aspects of connotations of the feasibility study, thefunction and foundation. The third part details the background and summary of theproject, analyzes the necessity of the project from the point of market needs andSWOT analysis of the project. The fourth part demonstrates the feasibility of theproject from production&construction and production technology conditions. Thefifth part demonstrates investment estimation, financing methods, financial analysisand solvency of the project by investment evaluation methods which on the basis ofthe needs analysis. In the sixth part social benefits are analyzed and discussed in thesocial benefits of project impact, the mutual adaptability and local social risk analysis.Finally, the paper makes overall feasibility analysis and evaluation of Xiangtansection projects of Changzhutan intercity railway project and then draws a conclusion.The paper starts from the basic theory of the feasibility study, and makes studybased on the actual situation of the project from the economic, social, environmentaland other aspect, from which identify problems and propose feasible suggestions andmeasures. Methods and ideas of this paper have certain significance for the feasibilitystudy of similar projects. |
