The Research&Optimization Of LEAN Product Development Process For Mobile Phone Connectors For A Company

Abstract:Now there are a lot of enterprises using LEAN method to improve competitiveness. But there is lack of application theory in new product development field. One key of successfully applying LEAN method is taken the status of enterprise, industrial and product characteristic into account, and the business process is the basic of applying LEAN.This paper will focus on the mobile phone connectors business, which belongs to Consumer Solution Business Unit of A company, using LEAN theory, Business Process Re-engineering theory and method, Customer Value Management to analysis the Non-Value Added process, considering the industrial peculiarities of mobile phone connectors, to optimize current product development process used in A company, the purpose is to eliminate the waste in current process, shorten the development cycle time. This is a basic study how to optimize the LEAN product development process based on dedicated product variety. This would be a venture of how to successfully apply LEAN method.
