Landscpe Protection Of The Pit House In Western Henan:the Landscape Planning Program Of Cultrual Scenic Spots Of Huangguyuan Pit House

On the basis of researching relevant documents home and abroad, this thesis researchedthe living fossils of human’s living civilization--Pit House in western Henan taking the caseof the landscape planning and design program of cultural scenic spots of Huangguyuan PitHouse. The Pit House’s landscape of architecture, villages, folks, farming, history and loessshows the characteristics of culture, uniqueness, scarcity and ecology.Under the backgrounds of natural environmental factors, landscape and architecturalfeatures, folk culture and social-economic, this thesis analyzed the necessity and urgency ofprotection of Pit Houses on the perspective of landscape ecology, and proposed principles andspecific measures of protection. This thesis also summarized its cultural identity andresearched its cultural origins and forming structures. Based on eco-museum theory, thisthesis elaborated the concept of eco-museum and its development in China, and analyzed therelationship between eco-museum and tourism development.This thesis analyzed the problems during the process of Pit House’s protection anddevelopment by the methods of status surveying, problem analyzing, strategies proposing,case studying and discussed the possible program of landscape protection of Pit House inwestern Henan combined with eco-museum theory. And combined with the specific cases italso suggested that Pit House protection should be connected with tourism developing. On thebase of ecological protection, it should show local lifestyles. Tourism industry should bedeveloped reasonably under the protection of residential lives. With the development of thetourism industry, living standards of local residents will be promoted and residents’awareness of protection will be improved, which can push and promote protection anddevelopment of Pit House.Finally, through the analysis of the entire case, this thesis prospected the futuredevelopment of Pit House. All regions of China should protect ancient houses and heritageunder this mode and inherit the brilliant history of Chinese.
