Neighborhood Block Transformation Research Based On Modular Method

Urban neighborhoods as the basis of human activity places, with the acceleration of theprocess of globalization and economic development, the update rate is also significantlyfaster. The way for the transformation of natural selection is the primary task ofneighborhood transformation. This paper studies the method of transformation ofneighborhoods, mainly in urban design theory as the guiding system, combining industrialdesign modular design concept.From the city design of angle departure, This papers analysis blocks existing oftransformation way, on existing of mass of all demolition and all construction split ortransformation in "patch", to reflection these two extreme ways; and combined with themodern trend of urban development and modernization of the production economicefficiency needs, According to the block system, independence and continuity and the"standardized" features,and blocks the transformation illustrates the advantages of modular,modular design concept is introduced in neighborhood rebuilding.Combining thecharacteristics of modular design, traditional residential neighborhoods were chosen as theobject of study, by analyzing the influencing factors living block modules,modules andblocks for function attributes, analyzed the spatial scale and management style, functionalrelationship exists between the module and the space module, then blocks implementationof the modular transformation guidance and management methods.In block systems basedon modular division, to evaluate the status of block modules, select the module needsreplacement, combined with its overall improvement and reconstruction of a moduledesign, then evaluate the final transformation, choose the best program for implementation.Finally, The modular design concept is applied for instance by Suzhou12localneighborhood...
