With the improvement of science and technology and economic,people’s demand for consumer goods change from the basic needs to the pursuit of personalization,diversification.At present,the main challenge for the manufacturing industry is how to meet the requirements of the customer’s individual needs,while taking into account the two aspects of low cost and high quality requirements.Faced with the above challenges,only through technological innovation,improvement of service levels,can enterprises occupy a space in the fiercely competitive market.Modular Design is about the product prototype divided according to certain standards,then getting the module library system consists of subordinate unit module,finally obtaining varied target products by calling the instance of the module in the design process.Therefore,modular design can achieve the balance of product diversification,high quality,low cost,which is in line with the requirements of modern manufacturing enterprises.This paper mainly studies the key technologies of the modular platform for engineering machinery products based on a certain enterprise BOM,and focuses on the module division and evaluation,module modeling and coding,the main function structure of the platform and EDEM Extended application.The main achievements are summarized below.1.This paper discusses the related concept principles of modular design,investigates the research status of related fields at home and abroad,which lays the foundation for the technical research of modular design platform.2.The module partitioning and evaluation methods are studied.The main methods of the module division,the logical relationship between the modules and the green attribute rules are analyzed.Based on the product BOM,a structural attribute graph is proposed to represent the structure and attribute of the product.Then,the calculation formulas of module partition scheme under the two conditions are focused on,and multi-objective evaluation method based on the polymerization degree in module,the coupling degree between modules and dispersion degree are proposed.Finally,the feasibility of the method is verified by the loader cab,which provides a theoretical basis for the evaluation of the division of the engineering machinery products of the modular design platform..3.This paper studies the steps of the 3D module library of the modular design platform,gives the technical route of the establishment and application of the module library.On this basis,it analyzes the main function modular and BOM of the wheel loader,and divides the wheel loader and working device.Finally,the main structural parameters of the working device are analyzed,and the 3D module library of the working device and the hydraulic system is established by using CREO2.0.4.The information model and the relation criterion of module interface of the modular design platform are established.The main interface types of the loader are classified and analyzed,and a set of coding rules of the engineering machinery product module is designed,and the working device interface of wheel loader is analyzed.At the end,the main function of the modular design platform for engineering machinery products is completed,and the extended application of EDEM based on discrete element method in modular design of loader bucket is discussed.
