Color is a kind of method which could change visual space rapidly, and it is an important medium to arouse people’s vision of the first response. It’s used in interior design has been more attention by designer, color is becoming a cost-effective design tools. Color design has become a subject of the professional design team which works in architecture, urban planning or interior design. The combination of color and design gives more space for artistic and cultural atmosphere which made the great contributed to the development of interior design industry in a diverse way, and it also great improve the people’s pursuit of color.In our nation, although there are many studies about the interior color design worthy of us to learn, but the most of the studies are focus on the style of interior. However, how to consider the color from its nature and to create an idealized environment based on the color design there still has a certain lack of it. We hold the certain lack as the starring point of this paper and make the research of the strategic which reveals the use of color in interior design. The performance of color in the space is a measure that people could separate it never. The purpose of its existence is to meet people to have a more comfortable and richer interior space and to satisfied people’s physical and psychological needs for space.Based on the depth discussion of the color’s theory, I summarized a series of basic properties of color, including its level of human physical and psychological aspects of a variety of color features, and by several of the most commonly used color depth, detail analysis, summarized the basic theory of reference for policy generation. Secondly, rely on the discussion of interior space’s origin and formation of action, purposed various levels of demand and necessary issues to be resolved in the residential class interior space design that is the different needs of the different space presented by the usage of the space, including "The need for identity","Demand for sociability","The need for privacy", and put forward the criticality influence of these demands. Through the rational analysis of several of needs required to deal with in the interior design, to be put forward to solve the problem by relying on color.Finally, based on the depth knowledge of color, see it as a medium for interior design process and to use the color as a tool to achieve the goal which is the demand of interface.
