Switched reluctance motor (Switched Reluctance Motor, SRM) is known by the simple structure, low cost, high reliability, wide speed range, high fault tolerance, maintenance-free operation, etc.. It is widely used in household appliances, coal production, gantry machine tool, aerospace and other fields. However, the switched reluctance motor’s special working principle and structure created strong noise, the strong torque ripple and other defects, severely restricted the speed control system to improve performance. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of industrial production, seeking excellent electrical workers SRM control strategy is becoming an urgent problem to be solved, and also become the key to ensure the rapid development of high performance SRM.Direct Torque Control (Direct Torque Control, DTC) is a nonlinear control method, it is difficult to establish accurate mathematical model and highly nonlinear for switched reluctance motor, and has a strong external interference robustness, so it has been widely applied for motor tune speed. For conventional PI control is poor in algorithm speed regulation system dynamic performance, This article combines fuzzy algorithm and PI algorithm to applied in the SRM speed closedloop control.This article also apply direct torque control strategy to the switched reluctance motor drive system, the use of MATLAB simulink simulation module built circuit, realize high precision control of SRM current, speed and torque. Simulation results show that the control strategy can effectively suppress torque and current ripple, you can also achieve full range of adjustment. On the basis of software analysis, the article also gives control to the DSP (TMS320F28335) core SRM speed control systemhardware design,and programming Softwareto complete the current, speed control system, experiments show that the system operating characteristics well.
