Tube lines in Hohhot Railway Bureau bears the burden of transportation with coal due to the richness in coal resources in Inner Mongolia. This paper, based on the content of analyzing from the perspective of Hohhot Railway Bureau whose coal transported by heavy haul train, regarding the traction system and direct torque control technology as the research object and the core of catenary respectively, analyzes voltage fluctuations of contact line and special conditions of excessive equality to ensure more reliable operation of heavy haul trains and gain higher economic benefits.Traction drive system is the core part of the train, traction drive converter technology is a key technology of the train. Direct thrust control technology method is simple, fast dynamic response, strong robustness to parameter change, very suitable for control of traction motor. This article main research content is as follows:First, starting from the composition mode of train traction drive system, traction drive system and its component of the analysis in this paper, and the four quadrant pulse rectifier circuit, intermediate dc link of second harmonic filter circuit, support capacitor and overvoltage protection link, the traction transformer has carried on the simple analysis.Second, change the coordinates of the required for control of a detailed analysis, on the basis of the three-phase static coordinate system, two-phase static coordinate system and rotating coordinate system mathematical model of asynchronous motor, illustrates the basic principle of direct torque control technology.Again, on the train traction drive system used in direct torque control technology module analysis, and through the Matlab/Simulink structures, including traction motor model, inverter model, observation model, flux and torque control switch table model, model.Finally, set up by using model simulation, the simulation including step simulation speed and torque step simulation, showing the validity of the simulation system. And carries on the simulation on the train under special conditions, such as catenary voltage fluctuation situation train operation, illustrates the stability of the simulation system. Detailed analysis method and simulation of train automatic excessive phase, combined with the actual situation, gives the catenary voltage fluctuation and the results of the analysis of train too phase, the scheme is suitable for automatic excessive phase is determined.
