Switched Reluctance Drive System with excellent speed performance, simple structure, reliable operation characteristics, low cost, flexible controllability and many other advantages, has caused extensive concern of the domestic and foreign scholars. But its doubly salient structure lead to the inevitable torque ripple, and the resulting noise and vibration have seriously affected the promotion of switched reluctance motor. In this paper, the author adopt Direct Torque Control and Fuzzy-PI control strategy to achieve a reduction in torque ripple.The speed and torque of double closed loop control have been adopted to achieve control of the four-phase 8/6 pole switched reluctance motor, fuzzy-PI composite technology has been adopted to achieve good control of motor speed in the outer loop, and also provides the desired torque for the inner loop. The torque loop analysis four-phase 8/6 pole switched reluctance motor direct torque control of space voltage vector, and develop appropriate switch table, through the rational choice of space voltage vector, the torque ripple is limited in a small hysteresis width. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation results can be seen that the direct torque control strategy can greatly reduce the torque ripple, control is more direct and effective, and also the fuzzy-PI composite control can improve the dynamic and static performance of the system.The subsequent work includes completing the hardware and software design of a four-phase 8/6 pole switched reluctance motor drive system. The design for each part of the hardware is feasible, while write related programs depending on the software flow chart, and completed the commissioning of each part of the circuit.
