Reinforced concrete arch bridge is a common used bridge type with advantages like low cost, aesthetic appearance, strong bearing capacity, good seismic performance and easy maintenance. However, heavy dead load and construction difficulties are two key issues that affect the development of long-span arch bridges. Concrete arch bridge with corrugated steel webs uses wave plate to replace the traditional box-section of the concrete web to not only achieve the purpose of self-weight reduction, but eliminating the need for concrete web pouring processes. An arch bridge which is constructed by cantilever casting with hanging basket can obtain good structural integrity, uniform stresses, less maintenance, satisfied durability and good earthquake resistance, etc. This paper is supported by Guizhou Transportation Department Technology Research Project-Suspension pouring reinforced concrete box arch bridge design and construction technology research (2011-122-034). Taking concrete arch bridge with corrugated steel webs as the research objective, the dissertation focuses on the mechanical analysis of such bridges in construction phase and the following research work was carried out:①Comparison analysis for the equivalent orthotropic straight webs to simulate corrugated steel webs wrinkle effect in the trail design is conducted. The analysis adopts the same cantilever construction method of Guizhou Mupeng bridge. Using Midas Civil Finite Element Method (FEM) software, the calculation for the construction force, the arch displacement, the principal tensile stress in the concrete top and bottom and the mises stress in the steel webs have been conducted.②Linear-elastic buckling analysis under dead load and wind load of concrete arch bridge with corrugated steel webs in each construction process have carried out. The geometric nonlinear stability analysis is used for calculating the largest cantilever stage and Arch ring closure construction stage.③Through the parametric analysis of segment weight, position of cable anchor, shrinkage and creep of concrete, elastic modulus of concrete and cable stiffness, incidence of these factors impacting on the cantilever pouring concrete arch bridge with corrugated steel webs in construction process could been drawn, which could provide a theoretical basis for the construction of concrete arch bridge with corrugated steel webs.
