Arch bridge is one of the most common used bridge types. Since the heavy self weight of reinforced concrete becomes the major restriction for the further development of arch bridge, to alleviate dead load of structure is one of the key problems of arch bridge research. An effective way to alleviate dead load of structure is using the steel-concrete composite structure. The web plate which use corrugated steel plates to substitute concrete has been a beneficial research. This new type of steel-concrete composite structure, corrugated steel web concrete box arch bridge, can alleviate dead load of structure, reduce the number of cast-in-place concretes, expedite the pace of construction, and enlarge the span of the arch bridge. Nowadays, many scholars did a host of profound researches about the seismic response of the arch bridge, but mostly restrict to the reinforced concrete arch bridge and the steel tube concrete arch bridge. Since there is a little reports concerned about corrugated steel web concrete box arch bridge, the research of the seismic response of the arch bridge which made of this new material need to be done.Through setting up the finite element mode, by using the time-history analysis method, this paper studied several aspects about the natural vibration characteristics and the seismic response of the corrugated steel web concrete box arch bridge as follows:to discuss the natural vibration characteristics of the corrugated steel web concrete arch bridge, and to analysis the change of the natural vibration characteristics which caused by the change of the material characteristics;to compare the seismic response of the corrugated steel web concrete arch bridge undering the longitudinal excitation, the longitudinal and vertical excitation, and the three-dimensional excitation;to discuss the change of the seismic response undering the longitudinal excitation, the longitudinal and vertical excitation, and the three-dimensional excitation which caused by the change of the material characteristics;to compare the similarities and differences of the seismic response of different control section which undering the consistent excitation and the inconsistent excitation.
