With the rapid development of the economy, China’s construction industries havegrown up quickly. Construction projects tend to have the characteristics of largeinvestment, long construction period, difficult construction process, complextechnology, high quality requirements, many quality factors and more constructioncollaborator. Under this condition, construction projects are facing with a lot ofunforeseen factors. The quality of construction is directly related to the nationalproperty, security and people’s lives; and it is related to long-term development of theconstruction enterprises, related to the applicability of projects and social benefits.Therefore construction enterprises must pay attention to the quality of constructionprojects, must control the process of the construction strictly. Quality management ofconstruction projects in China is not mature, and it faces many problems. How toimprove the quality of construction projects is a pressing problem.Firstly, this paper describes the current situation and development about the projectconstruction quality of domestic and international research, and point out the existingproblems of the construction quality. Then the paper declares the basic theoreticalknowledge of system dynamics and system dynamics software-Vensim PLE. Secondly,the analysis of the status of the quality control of construction projects, describes theexisting system of quality control of construction project and the achievements,discusses the construction project quality management problems. On the basis oftheoretical analysis, focusing on the system dynamics in construction project qualitycontrol. On the basic analysis of theory, the paper explains the important implication ofsystem dynamics on the project quality control. Using fishbone diagram, the paperanalyses the affecting factors of the construction quality, list the advantages aboutsystem dynamics applying to quality control. The paper draws a causal loop diagramusing system dynamics software, discusses the ripple effects that exists in the qualitycontrol system and the knock-on effects. From the perspective of a system, the paperanalyses the affecting factors of the quality control. Finally, the paper draws a causalloop diagram and analyses the relationship between factors. And then the paperclarifies the relationship between variables. According to the process of quality control,the paper simulates the development of construction projects in each section. Based on the preceding analysis, the paper proposes improvements and measures, which ishelpful to improve the enterprises’ construction quality.
