With the rapid development of our country economy, people’s living standard continuously improve. But based on the extensive economic growth mode of rapid growth, unsustainable resources to environmental stress. In recent years, environmental problems appear constantly, and mounting smog problem, but also touches everyone’s nerves, make the management of the whole society to the environment and we protect our reached unprecedented heights. Big to the country, small to individuals began to the improvement of air quality, air purifier as our daily household electrical appliances, to purify indoor air, improve indoor air quality has a very important role.In the air purifier on market at home and abroad, and related products for a wide range of research and analysis, mainly adopts the research method of combining the theory research and practice. Theoretical research part mainly using the theory of reference method, literature method, image analysis, case analysis and design related theory and other research methods, research part mainly use practice investigation method and questionnaire method, on the whole analysis green air purifier in the importance of the study of design art.On market research found that the existing air purifier can satisfy people’s needs, but there is a single product appearance, function also is same, lack of consumer demand for personalized product design considerations. In order to meet the demand of consumers in general better meet consumers on the basis of the individuality demand, this paper studies the desktop green air purifier from consumer lifestyle, understand the consumer psychology and demand, and the crowd subdivision, green design, design of harmonization, the localization design, humanized design and the design of the innovation factors into all aspects of product design and process, make the air cleaner and better to provide personalized services to different groups, to meet unique needs of consumers both material and spiritual. Based on the research of the life form and the typical user analysis, in view of the desktop air purifier consumers users can be divided into five kinds of typical people, according to the characteristics of various design and analysis the corresponding desktop green air purifier.
