| As I live in the birthplace of ethnic minorities,I can always feel the strong atmosphere of minority culture in my life,so I chose a topic related to Mongolian culture.During my Master’s degree,my supervisor led us on a field trip to Jing County,Anhui Province,and held many practical activities related to handmade paper,which made me fall in love with handmade paper.Therefore,I took Mongolian cultural elements as the starting point to explore the fit between ethnic culture and handmade paper,and to bring handmadepaperculturaland creativeproductstolife.In order to better understand the handmade paper market,I visited hand-made paper workshops in Yuqou Township,Jia County,Shaanxi Province,Jing County,Anhui Province,Jing Ren Paper Language,I am Mr.Broussonet,Beijing Nanluoguxiang,and Bu Paper Studio,Jingdezhen,to learn more about the papermaking process of different papers,to understand the current situation of handmade paper in the north and south,and to touch the texture of different papers with my own hands.During my research I found the main problem of handmade paper lacking traditional cultural connotations in design,so this paper summarises the various angles of materials,production techniques and product applications,and focuses on the issue of how traditional culture is expressed in handmade paper.After visiting the Inner Mongolia Museum,the Ordos Bronze Museum and nearby shops,the author extracted and applied elements from four areas: humanistic architecture,gold and silver implements,folk customs and regional culture,effectively solvingtheproblem ofhandmadepaper’slackoftraditionalculturalconnotations.Based on this,this paper selects handmade paper for research,adds elements of Mongolian culture,enriches the traditional cultural connotation of handmade paper,allows traditional handicrafts to integrate with modern life,makes handmade paper truly integrated into life,allows more people to understand handmade paper and Mongolian culture,effectively promotes the spread and development of handmade paper in the northern region,and tries to achieve the purpose of inheriting and preserving handmade paper. |
