The Enlightenment On Modern Landscape Design Thought Of Zen

Our country’s modern landscape construction, was placing emphasis on the aesthetic, functional and focus on the landscape ecological value and social value of the development, but ignored the element of native culture during the landscape construction, did not formed as the classical gardens, which lack of landmarks of Chinese style, that full of life interest, the life philosophy of landscape.In this paper, the enlightenment on modern landscape design thought of Zen was based on the traditional culture, excavated the connotation of garden cultural. Firstly I studied the Zen thought and Zen garden, analyzed the Zen thought on philosophy level and way of thinking, connection and revelations of the landscape design. Secondly, Analyzing all kinds of garden landscape which was influenced by Zen thought characteristic, further pointed out that the Zen thought for the enlightenment content of modern garden design. Finally, practice case as landscape planning and design of warm spring leisure agriculture garden, discussed the practical application research, the main research content and the basic conclusion was as follows:1. By summing up the core, features, practice methods, Zen process, relations with modern life of Zen thought, I pointed out that the history of Zen and the classical garden had a fit of development, proposed in the designer way of thinking, the design, the design process, these three aspects of modern garden design guidance related to thinking.2. From the relationship of Zen, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, literati and the influence of traditional culture on garden design departure, analyzed of the Zen thought as a kind of traditional culture was the integration of "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism" three ideological content, had a huge impact on China’s literati. And further summarized Zen garden areas of study and characteristics, proposed the pertinence of Zen aesthetics and garden aesthetic.3. Pointing out the temple gardens, private gardens, imperial gardens in Chinese classical gardens, have specific content of influenced by Zen thought, and separately analyzed the garden features of Chinese classical gardens, Japanese gardens, Western minimalist garden, China’s new Chinese landscape, these are modern fusion of Zen garden ideology reference content.4. On the basis of combing previous studies, this paper proposed five aspects of the enlightenment on modern landscape design thought of Zen, that is the design concept, behavior awareness, artistic expression, spatial organization, to create mood.5. In the aspect of practice system, taking warm springs Zen leisure garden concept design as an example, based on project site of geographical environment and natural resources, developing the Zen Buddhism culture fusion of tourism and leisure agriculture sightseeing projects, taking the Zen experience as a project development innovation point, combining with the design and project planning, by looking at Zen, listen to the Zen, smell touch of Zen, savor of Zen, realize of Zen, elaborating Zen culture scenic area’s environment design in these six aspects, discussed the combination of theory and practice.
